My wife and I picked up Hillary Mendoza and Senior Abby Salinas and drove to San Marcos for the Mermaid Festival to see our Mermaid unveiled.  The day was incredibly hot and we had a lot of shaved ice and homemade lemonade. The Art show was great, the river was full of swimming real live mermaids and the reception from the mayor and the city arts department was phenomenal.

I wish i could show you more but here is some snapshots of the cool stuff along with me unveiling our beautiful mermaid.
