Hello, everybody. I really hope all is well with you and your families. As you may already know we will continue to have class through this online platform until things get better. The structure of the class will remain the same with a few modifications to it.Through this platform I will be assigning work and it should be completed in a timely manner just like in class.For this class we will keep on writing notes. I will be posting a lesson on a weekly basis. Notes are not that long but you will need to write them down in your history notebook. The notes will be graded upon return to school. The grades for your notes will be counted as test grades so make sure you are writing them down.Reading Essentials and Study Guides are going to be the other assignments that I post. These will be completed in the same format that we did the lesson review from the book. You are going to copy the vocabulary words in your own sheet of paper, highlight the word, and define. Throughout the worksheets you will find questions. Make sure you also copy them down, highlight the question, and answer the question. All the questions that are on the worksheet must be answered starting at the top with the Essential Question to the last one that you see on the last page. The Questions include graphic organizers. Again, at the end the format of you assignment should be the same as the ones we did in class. Each lesson will be due on the Friday of the week that the assignment was posted on no later than 11:59 pm.The assignments above will begin next Monday (3/30/20).Your first assignment will be to write an essay. The essay must be 1.5 to 2 pages long if typed and 3 to 4 pages if it is hand written (Front and back of a page is 2 pages). If it's hand written make sure that it is neat and legible. If I can't read it or if it is messy it will be a 0. If you type your essay make sure to use size 12 point Times New Roman. Also make it double-spaced. This is due on Saturday (3/28/20) by 11:59 pm.Topic: Analyze the effects that the Covid-19 is having in the world. How do these epidemics and pandemics affect human, physical, and environmental geography?All the assignments must be turned in by email. It is very simple. Just take a picture of your work and send the picture to [email protected]. This can be done from a phone just like a text message. Instead of writing a number write the email. For the essay if you have a computer just attach the file to the email. Please do not forget to write your names on the assignments.Guys please help me by spreading the word around about how the class is going to work now.
