Saturday Feb 19th, 2011<br><br>This is a historic day for HGA. High School Art students from HGA Coral campus entered their very first UIL Regional VASE (Visual Art Scholastic<br>Event) competition. Over thirty Region 4 South schools attended, hundreds of art students ranging in 4 categories, Div 1-4. The rating system was I II III and an IV award is the highest a student can achieve.<br><br>Nine HGA art students attended and 3 students were awarded IV ratings-gold medals and six students were awarded III ratings.
