I’m a people person who likes to connect with others about life experiences. Everyone has a story to tell and it’s amazing how much we can learn from each other. My journey in becoming a counselor started when I worked for the Houston Chronicle. I knew then I wanted to go into the counseling field. I went back to college and landed a job with Community Family Centers as their Prevention / Intervention Counselor for nine years. Working for HGA has given me the opportunity to reach out to our youth, parents and community in this Human Service Field.
